Question: Can you create estimates to be approved by potential clients and than create Invoices from that?

Yes, select the row "Estimates" on the panel "Actions" and click the button New. When you create invoice you can use the button "From Estimate". If you don't see this button use the button Options and set the checkbox "From Estimate"
